Last updated 20th July 2021.

With restrictions, including capacity limits, social distancing rules and mask wearing, lifted as of Monday 19th July we are going to be running pretty much as we were pre COVID times! However, we are still doing everything necessary to be smart and safe about it, and we are ensuring our students are doing the same. Therefore we are adhering to some new safety procedures.

Questions & Answers regarding how we are running in these new times:

How will your classes and courses run if I book as an individual? During your time with us you may be partnered with other participants.
Please note that this will be automatic, however, should you be uncomfortable with this please do get in touch before booking to let us know and we can see if it is possible to accommodate you on your own.

If I attend a 1 or 2-week course will I have to take a test? You will be asked to take a lateral flow test either at a community testing centre or at home within 48 hours of attending your course with us.

What if I need to cancel my place on a public class or 1 & 2-week course due to COVID? Our strict cancellation terms still apply. Please read our full T&Cs here

What happens if another student tests positive while I am on one of your 1 or 2-week courses? We will tell you who the student is so that you can assess your contact with them.
If you have worked on a table or come in close contact with them you will need to take a lateral flow test as a precaution and share a negative result before returning to our kitchens.
We will try to contact those people who have worked on a table with the student directly.

Will I be able to transfer the remainder of my course if I test positive to COVID mid-way through one of your 1 & 2 week courses?

Will the kitchen be cleaned between each class? Yes, we sterilise the kitchen, loo and all public areas for the next class.

Will you be taking any precautionary tests on arrival? We will be checking everyone’s temperature with our contactless thermometer on arrival in order to limit the risk of spreading the virus. Please be aware that if your temperature is above 37.5C you will not be able to enter our cookery school.
