All of these courses have the shared aim of boosting your confidence in the kitchen so that you can produce innovative and healthy food for yourself, your family and friends without getting stressed out. Cooking can often feel like a chore when you roll out the same things week after week. These courses are designed to inspire you to cook some wonderful new dishes using tasty, time-efficient recipes that will keep the smile on your face through preparation to consumption! Classes are very small so you will really benefit from 2:1 tuition.
Cooking with family, friends or colleagues is a great way to enjoy each other’s company while making something delicious, so we also create bespoke courses for groups. We can design a course to exactly suit your needs so that you get the most out of your time together and in the kitchen. We are totally flexible on numbers and timings so courses can be built to suit busy diaries too. For those who are keen to learn how to master a certain style of cooking or learn a new cookery method but want to learn from the familiarity of their own kitchens, we also run Zoom classes for specific requirements. Up Your Game and learn how to prepare and cook pheasant, pigeon, partridge, venison and rabbit and seasonal veg and make the most of these wonderful meats. The menu will vary depending on the time of year and what is available but you will come away with some new ideas and some fantastic recipes to cook at home. Half Day £150.
Dinner for Six is the new normal – when we’re not in lockdown that is! Cooking for a smaller number makes it possible to try new ideas and plate them to look beautiful and inviting. Come and learn how to use colour, texture and flavour to make entertaining family and friends a completely delicious experience. Half Day £150.
Prepare for Christmas is a day designed to do just that. You won’t have to do the shopping and you will go home having prepared the gravy for the turkey, made the cranberry sauce, the Cumberland sauce, prepped the Brussels, braised red cabbage, parsnips, potatoes and some delicious mini stuffing balls. Also on the menu are mince pies and Grand Marnier butter and a couple of delicious canapé ideas. Flora will also send you home with a folder full of recipes for using up any leftovers. Don’t forget to bring your cool bag! Full day £250.
Cooking For Longevity is a course designed with nutritionist Elodie Stanley. Come and learn a little about how our digestion changes through life and create delicious dishes packed with nutrients. It is a chance to understand how to combine fabulous tasty ingredients in order to maximise their absorption into our body so we can really benefit from what we eat. Full Day £175.
Evening Classes are for those whose day time schedules are just too full. Come and join us after work for a couple of hours in the kitchen and learn some new skills and how to cook a few dishes that are quick and delicious. You will eat what you create and drinks will be served. £75.
Family Fun is an opportunity for you to come along with your son, daughter, grandchild or godchild and cook together. Creating delicious dishes in a group is a really fun way of teaching every generation some useful new skills that will stay with them forever. You won’t have to think of the menu, do the shopping or the clearing up! The price is for one adult and one “child”.
