The prices are similar to our usual courses and include recipes, drinks and lunch and lots to go home with.

Perhaps you’ve always yearned to learn the art of making sushi or to make great pastry for pies and flans? Or perhaps you simply want to get a few mates together to have some fun and learn something new together? At Flora’s Kitchen we are passionate about designing courses around exactly what it is you want to learn, whether that’s learning to cook some exciting new dishes to liven up your daily menu or honing a particular skill or technique to improve your cooking methods.

Our aim is to create a truly memorable experience for you as cooking together is a great way to enjoy each other’s company while doing something fun and productive. A cookery course makes such a lovely treat – perhaps for a couple wanting to create something special to eat or for parents wanting to spend time with their kids away from screens and the pressures of home life. Or even just when someone needs cheering up and to be distracted from life’s tribulations. We’re great at parties too – birthdays, hens even lads days out!

Just get in touch with Flora to discuss your ideas and give your ideal dates and she will create a bespoke course suited to you and the needs of your group.  Our class sizes have always been small with a maximum of six children or four adults so depending on numbers and to a certain extent ingredients it is possible to create an entirely bespoke course at no extra cost.

We also run bespoke courses via Zoom which, similarly, are a great way of spending precious time learning – and hopefully laughing – together. And you can enjoy sampling all your creations in the comfort of your own kitchen. A one hour Zoom class is £40 for up to two people. We also welcome larger groups too.

Both my teenage son and daughter were given a Bespoke Cookery Morning (your choice of menu!) gift voucher for their birthdays. Flora’s enthusiasm began well before the actual day with planning and choosing what they might like to cook. My son likes game so.…..Pheasant was to be on the menu! As ever, no stone was left unturned – they learnt way more than we ever thought was possible from knife skills, deboning, to making confit and goujons and finally some stock – nothing spared! And loads more to accompany it, plus a pudding!

Flora is unbelievably professional, she has a very natural and engaging way of imparting her technical skills, sharing her knowledge and the art of combining foods, to celebrating the feast they created together in her beautiful home. I would implore any parent to nurture a child’s love of cooking to experience one of Flora’s Kitchen courses. My children’s love of food and cooking is totally down to her inspirations – they will be back for more!!!

Flora provided us with a wonderful evening recently. She kindly allowed the 6 of us to fit in with our awkward work schedules at a time that suited us all. As a gift from my mum, the 6 of us cooked and ate some delicious food for which I was able to choose the menu I wanted – on this occasion it was Asian themed. We came away happy and full with quality branded bags filled with all the recipes we had followed that evening. Then Flora sent me the photos she’d kindly taken for us. I even came away with the leftovers that we were unable to finish as we were so full. Sushi was fun to make and yummy and the gyozas were as just delicious. Flora adapted the recipe slightly to accommodate a friend with a nut allergy. Can’t recommend enough! Brilliant. Thank you Flora!”
