We are passionate about inspiring teenagers to cook wholesome and delicious dishes from scratch so that they will happily use these recipes time and time again in later life. We teach them to have the confidence to build on these skills and to follow recipes correctly so that they can broaden their repertoire at home. As we are constantly being made aware of what not to put into our bodies, these courses teach our children what is good to put in our bodies, treats and all, and how to prepare, cook and eat great healthy food to embrace all dietary requirements.

We have a series of courses which focus on teaching fantastic recipes from different parts of the world or from a variety of culinary genres. However, if you have something in particular you’d like your teens to learn to cook, then we are happy to create a session to accommodate this. Our groups are limited to six but this is a great fun and productive way to spend a day with friends and family. Flora is delighted to make this course bespoke for your social bubble or family,  so get in touch and let us know exactly what your children’s favourite things to learn to cook are. We also run Zoom classes for teenagers which is a great way for friends to get together to learn something new, fun and useful for life. Get in touch with flora@floraskitchen.co.uk.

As we know teenagers are busy creatures and plans can change at the drop of a hat, so we have devised some highly comprehensive, inspirational online courses to teach the basics and beyond while working at their own pace and from their own kitchens. Our Online Courses are very popular with teenagers and are available as individual tutorials or 12-week courses for participants wanting to complete the Skills section of their Bronze and Silver DofE Award Schemes.
