£40 an hour for up to two screens or two people on one screen. We also welcome larger groups for an additional £5 an hour per person.
Our Zoom classes, hosted by Flora, provide a wonderful way to gain newfound confidence to create appetising and versatile dishes in a familiar environment. Classes are suited to all levels of cook from the complete novice who wants to get to grips with some basic recipes to use time and time again, to the ‘tired’ cook who desperately needs some inspiration to pep up dinner time, or to someone who wants to impress with something a touch more sophisticated.
The beauty is we tailor our Zoom classes to exactly what it is you want to learn and you get to stay in your own kitchen and enjoy the fruits of your labour at your own table with your loved ones. You can either let Flora’s Kitchen create a suitable menu based around your needs or you come up with your very own bespoke one. Or you can book a class to nail a particular skill such as pastry or bread making, sauces or sushi.
Once you’ve chosen a date, recipes, a list of ingredients and suggested equipment will be sent to you allowing time to get prepared. We will have the same ingredients on hand during the class to demonstrate the necessary skills and possibly cook along with you.
When you book a Zoom class you pay an initial £40 to secure an hours’ tuition. Depending on the actual running time of the class, you will then pay £40 per hour thereafter to the nearest 15 minutes. If the Zoom class includes more than two people or two screens, there will be an additional charge of £5 an hour per extra person.
We have superfast cabled broadband so our WiFi connection is secure and stable and of high quality making virtual teaching a continuous and fluent experience. Zoom is simple to use and gives an unlimited amount of time to share the virtual space. We set it up, send you the link via email and all you have to do is click on this and we’re there.
